Journals
The Bioscope attempts to list all periodicals from the silent era that are available online (mostly for free). The list is now so substantial that they have been subdivided by country:
- Austria (11 titles)
- Brazil (2 titles)
- Canada (1 title)
- France (10 titles)
- Germany (4 titles)
- Italy (94 titles)
- Mexico (1 title)
- New Zealand (1 title)
- Spain (3 titles)
- Sweden (1 title)
- Switzerland (1 title)
- United Kingdom (7 titles)
- USA (48 titles)
Links to many silent film journals (mostly American) can be found on the Media History Digital Library’s Early Cinema pages and on Bruce Long’s Taylorology site.
please notify me of new posts via email.

Bruce Long has now added 100 fan magazines to the Internet Archive and the Media Digital History Library, as noted here: http://mediahistoryproject.org/2012/02/08/100-early-fan-magazine-additions-courtesy-of-bruce-long/. Hopefully they’ve added been included above as well, though it’s starting to get hard to keep track of all this…
A good motion picture magazine from Valencia (Spain) titled LA RECLAM CINE is available on line
(Biblioteca Nacional archives):

Many more issues included under the title LA RECLAM on:

Hope the link goes well.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I shall write a post on this and add the journal to the list.
